I'm kind of nervous to start a blog but here I am posting my first review EVER. I hope this can help you guys in deciphering which product to buy. To be honest I also give importance to the comment of another person who experienced a product before purchasing it.

Anyway, I'm going to start with my first impression with Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier. I was really thrilled when I first saw this because I have a really oily skin. Because of this, I usually look for products which can help reduce the oil in my face as much as possible. The description in the product packaging was really convincing, and the fact that it is MADE IN KOREA. Eeeeeep, right? I mean, Korea is also known for its cosmetics. So why not try it?

Here is the picture of the product packaging: (So sorry for the dark picture)

Product Description:

Quick FX No-Shine Mattifier – absorbs oil to control shine for a smooth, matte finish, conceals fine lines and pores for visibly radiant skin instantly.

Actives: Salicylic Acid, Chamomile, Tea tree extract & Matte wax.

As you can see, it is portable so you can bring it anywhere. It also fits perfectly in your make up pouch or bag. What I really like about its packaging was it has a nozzle on the side so it wouldn’t spill inside your bag. Moving on, this costs 99.00 pesos in Watsons. I find it a little on the pricey side considering it’s only 10g but you never know it might be worth it.

Beauty Tip # 1: Whenever you buy a product, always get one in the middle or at the back because people tend to open the ones in the front.

Sooo here I am trying the product:

So this is how it looks like. It’s different from a foundation because it feels more like a gel maybe because of its mattewax ingredient. In addition, it’s not shiny in my hand. I SWEAR it’s not shiny.

Sorry for my haggard face HAHA

After applying it in my face, I noticed that my skin did mattified and the redness in my cheeks vanished. It did cover my pores but not all my blemishes (my DARK DARK eyebags are still there huhu). It also felt smooth in my skin. Moreover, it’s really light and it feels like as if it’s not really there.

Beauty Tip # 2: Use this whenever your lazy to do your make-up to look fresh all day.

Verdict:

I looove this product because it delivered what it promised. However, I’m suggesting that if you guys have blemishes like mine use this as a primer for your make up. I used this as a primer and I did not use pressed powder after foundation since my oily skin was already covered. My only problem with this is I find it a tad bit pricey but nevertheless it’s really worth your money.

My rating would be 4/5

I will purchase this again in a heartbeat.

Love,
