Head Turner: How To Be A #Selfie Expert

HEY GUYS! I'm so excited for this post because I'm a certified selfie addict. Whenever I look decent, I often whip out my phone and snap a couple of pics. (oops) First of all, what is a selfie? It's a picture you take of yourself often with a smartphone. But, I guess you all know that. However, what I'm going to be talking about in this post are my tips and tricks on how I work my ideal selfies.

This is

Head Turner: How To Be A #SelfieExpert

1. Set Yo Theme

I consider selfies as photographs. Thus, I take my time to produce "perfect" pictures. And just like any other artwork and project, you need to first set a theme. It's going to be the center of your selfie.

Sounds hard?

FRET NOT, it's pretty easy to pick a theme. Think of it as showing different sides of you because just snapping a picture of yourself all the time can be boring and redundant. Setting a theme adds fun to selfies. I'm going to show examples so you guys can envision it more.

A. Fierce

OOH lala! This is the I'm-starving-and-I-want-your-burger kind of look. Do you get me? HAHA This is where you focus on something (either the camera or anything you want) and pout a little. I don't smile when I want to be fierce because it defeats the purpose of the whole look. My #1 tip is: open your mouth a little and show the fronts of your teeth because it looks so much better. (btw, I saw Liza Soberano doing this technique too! I'm such a fan of hers)

B. Happy

This is the I-ate-my-super-favorite-food or My-crush-likes-me look. (Sorry for all the food references, HAHA, I'll change it up a little *wink*). In this theme, you can smile all you want. It's actually a requirement to smile in this one. JUST CHANNEL ALL YOUR POSITIVE THOUGHTS and I swear your eyes and smile will convey it for you. Tip for this look: raise your camera a little bit upwards to make your audience focus on your eyes first.

C. Swag

Okay, I don't know what I was thinking when I took this picture but it's here so let me use this as a reference for this theme. For this part, you don't need to dress like a man to achieve this. You just have to have the I'm-going-to-punch-you kind of look. My suggestion for this is for you to lower your camera a little bit and lift your chin so it looks like your looking down on the camera which adds "swagger" to the whole appeal.

D. Casual

When all else fails, do this theme. Also, if you guys are bored or just want a selfie done in a second, then this is for you. This is the I-just-want-to-take-a-picture-right-now look. And this is probably the most common out of all my selfie themes. You can do this in any occasion and place. Just whip your phone and snap a picture of you smiling.

E. Snapchat

If you don't have a Snapchat, then download one just for cute selfies. Snapchat has AWESOME filters. It has tons of pretty cute filters you can choose from and look at this dog filter, I love it!

And that's it! There are tons of selfie themes you can choose from, these are some of the basics so have fun taking selfies with these.

2. Find Your A-Ok Spot

AHH, the famous background problem. I have tons of pictures that didn't make the cut of being posted on Instagram because of bad surroundings. I mean seriously, it is such a hassle when you have a beautiful picture but your background is not cooperating with you.

SO, my tip for you is to avoid places with too much things to focus on. Like this:

Instead, go for simple backgrounds like these:

If you can't find backgrounds like these then make use of cloths like what I did. BUT, If you find this hassle then just go for  background that is not too distracting for the viewers. Since the focus of selfies should be you.

3. Light Up Your Selfie

The light should be your bestfriend when you're taking a picture. So my numero uno tip is for you to never ever go against the light. You should snap a picture while facing it so you will not appear like a shadow from neverland. Another tip is you should always remember that natural light a.k.a the sun's precious beams is your best bet because it gives you a natural glow. Plus, it's easier to edit later.

See for yourself:
(I took the right picture in a dark room using a mobile light - the mini light I bought at Divisoria)

4. Werk Your Angle

Gurl! Don't be shy werkin it. Think of yourself as a competitor in America's Next Top Model and pose your heart out. The trick in finding your best angle is looking at the mirror and practicing your poses. (A little embarrassing but you'll get used to it *wink*) Eventually you'll find the angle that will make your selfies unforgettable. Like Ariana Grande, right?

5. Pose Until You Find "The One"

So this is the screenshot of my gallery. Can you guys relate? My step number 5 for being a #SelfieExpert is pose until you find the one. I realized that I'm not pretty in every picture I take. I mean sometimes I even look horrendous. Thus, what I do is I take tons of selfies then look at it afterwards. And just like a judge, I pick the nicest ones. My suggestion for you guys is don't be scared to take tons of selfies, if you don't want it clogging your gallery then just delete it.

6. Beautiful people, There's Nothing Wrong With Editing

Okay, so I have read comments of people hating on too much editing. I understand them at some point about how too much editing can destroy the essence of the picture. But who cares, right? If they don't like your picture, then they shouldn't view it. My point is, you're free to do anything you want because it's your life so don't let them say otherwise. With that note, my tip is if you feel that your selfie needs some editing, then by all means, do it. Here are some of my favorite apps to help you edit your fabulous selfies:

A. Toolwiz Photos

I find it a hassle to open my computer and go to photoshop just to edit my pictures. So I found an alternative which is Toolwiz photos. It pretty much has almost everything under the sun. It has patch, reshape, lens blur, depth of field and so much more. My only problem with this is it's a little complicated. I don't know some of the features in here but I'm willing to venture.

B. Make-up plus

Do you have moments when you look haggard but you still want to take a selfie? Then this is for you! This is like an instant makeup app wherein you can touch up so you can be haggard free in your picture. I am totally in love with this app because it's so easy to use and it's hassle free. They also have ready to go makeup looks so you won't need to arrange your makeup one by one.

C. PicsArt

This is similar to Toolwiz. PicsArt also has a lot of features. It can also be an alternative to Photoshop. For me, I find this much easier than Toolwiz because it does not have too many choices but you can also find everything you need in here.

D.  VSCO

Lastly, the most popular filter app. I love VSCO because it has awesome filters and it's so simple and easy to use but it can make your picture look flawless.

7. Share it to the World

Last but not the least, SHARE SHARE SHARE! Don't forget to post your selfies on your social media accounts!

These are my 7 tips on how you can be a #SelfieExpert. BUT, let me add one more tip!

Find a camera that will be worth your while just like OPPOF1S, the phone made perfectly for selfie experts with its 13mp and 16mp camera. With this you'll have magnificently snapped selfies. (Plus, you might not need editing anymore *wink)

I hope this was helpful to you guys as much as it helped me throughout the years. Stay forever fabulous!

Love,

How I Make My Worklife Easier

Hello Hello! I'm sure that everyone of us have encountered a moment/s where in our workload seems so high that you sometimes compare it to Mount Everest. (HAHA, just kidding) I hope you guys know what I mean.

FRET NOT,

all of us can relate! From students to workers, we know what it feels to skip meals and fun just to finish our work before THE deadline. This sounds like an inevitable hardship we face once in a while. HOWEVER, I will share my tips on how to lessen the BIG BIG burden of this situation which I learned through experience as a student and an intern.

Here we go!

Tip #1

GOODMORNING FERN-C!

If you don't know or haven't heard of Fern-C, let me just introduce it to you. So basically, it is (and I quote from their website which you can visit here) "the first non-acidic vitamin c in the Philippines and the only quali-c vitamin c from Europe". So what does it do? It acts as a shield against infections that you may encounter everyday. Like the pollution we, commuters, face everytime we ride the jeep or wait for buses that will take us to where we are going. That's the main reason why I take this every morning. BUT, I recently saw in their website that they do so much more than that. According to their website, and I quote, Fern-C not only hastens wound healing but also encourages healthy gums, teeth and bones. After all, Fern-C ay "Subok Na"!

COOL, right?

Again, let me just note how important this is in your everyday lives. When it rains, I usually catch colds since I think I have a weak immunity whenever it's cold. This, in turn, lessens my energy by a large percentage, which causes my work etiquette to suffer. Moreover, this is even a must for me whenever I have that seemingly unbearable workload to finish. Because in times like this, I usually skip sleeping early and drinking lots of coffee to remain awake. This destroys my health which also lessens my energy.

Thus, for 110% energy everyday, you need to be secured against obstacles which can hinder your success.

This shows that "Worklife Ay Easy With Fern-C".

 Tip #2

SMILE YOUR DAY AWAY

I saw this quote some time ago at www.scrapbook.com and it goes like this

"Smile, because every 60 seconds is a minute of happiness that you'll never get back."

This actually doesn't make sense at first glance BUT I encourage you to keep up with me because this really helps. For me, a smile is a big step towards happiness. And this happiness will eventually encourage you to give everything you have with what you're doing. Which in turn, makes you produce GREAT works! Just think about it, if you're lonely or sad, the burden of your workload will demoralize you bit by bit. SO TAKE MY ADVICE AND START SMILING! You'll also be spreading the love with others too!

Tip #3

DRESS APPROPRIATELY BUT COMFORTABLY

OOTD is only great if you are comfortable and appropriately dressed.

I've seen a couple of people who are so conscious of what they wear that they can't focus on what they're doing. As such, my tip is for you guys is to wear whatever you're comfortable with. BUT, you should also follow the dress rules for your work or school. For example, high school students may not relate to dressing up every day because they have uniforms. However, this tip can also be applied to what shoes they're wearing. Are you more comfortable with 1-2 inches heels or just flats? Another example would be business attires for work. For me, I'm more comfortable wearing slacks than skirt for business attires since I commute. If they're both eligible for your work then choose the clothing that will not be a disadvantage to what you do. In this way, you are more focused on your tasks. Also, things like clothing will not be a hindrance to the success of your work.

Tip #4

MUSIC IS YOUR GUARDIAN ANGEL

The power of music amazes me every single time. It actually relates and guides you in everything you do.

Whether we're in the gym or just chilling out, music makes us feel focused in whatever we're doing. Thus, this is my tip #3! Whenever you're doing your work, make sure to listen to songs that make you concentrate in what you're doing. This will help you to finish you're work quicker than normal. Because usually we get distracted easily which in turn makes us cram our works just a minute before the deadline. Thus, making it HARDER. For me, I listen to a Spotify playlist which is "Your Favorite Coffeehouse". It has mellow songs which aren't too slow that it makes you want to snooze. It has that kind of theme were in it plays songs that makes you focus on your work. However, the songs you play really depends on what genre will help you concentrate on what you're doing  and stop you from being distracted to the current events on your social media apps. ( HA HA a problem I've encountered so many times).

Tip #5

SNACK IT UP

An empty stomach is a NO-NO SITUATION if you have a lot of things to do. I know there are times that you're so busy you don't even have time to drink water. This is really bad because what this do is it diminishes our energy to do what we have to do. AND successful works take up great mental prowess and effort. So! DO NOT brush off snacks because it's a MUST. What I usually do is I buy finger foods like peanuts, chips (not so healthy I know) or sandwiches so I eat while working. It actually saves a lot of time than eating rice for about 15 minutes.

AS SUCH, we should always remember that we can spare five minutes to avoid jeopardizing a future amazing work!

Tip #6

TAKE A ZEN BREAK EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE

The last and final tip that I'm going to give you guys is in relation with the last tip in terms of taking a time off from work.

I encourage you to take a break once in a while to breathe out from information overload to gather your thoughts.

What I mean about a break is not sleeping or logging in to your social networks because these will just make you lazy to return back to your work. What I suggest, however, is walk for 2-3 minutes every one hour. This is to gather your thoughts to line up every single data that you are going to add to your work. This is a plus for me because I get to think without the glare of the computer screen or book.

THAT'S IT! I hope my tips help you guys as much as it helped me throughout the years. Don't be shy to comment your thoughts about my post below!

BEFORE YOU GO, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO CHECK OUT FERN-C. You guys can visit their sites here:

3 Steps To Exfoliate Your Lips

Don't you guys hate it when your matte lipsticks emphasize the flaws of your lips? Whether it's drying or not exfoliated enough that you can see cracks everywhere. It's just a horrifying experience that I can relate to. So I have a solution which I hope will work for you guys as it worked for me. This can be done every day or every other day depends on how dry your lips are.

(Disclaimer: I'm not a professional, this is just what I do with my lips, so do this at your own risk.)
This can be done as a night or day regimen since all of the products can be used as a lip balm anyway.

1.GENTLY Brush your lips with a soft, clean toothbrush.
-  This will remove the dry skin from your lips. Be sure to buy a soft toothbrush to avoid irritation in your lips. AND I will emphasize again, brush your lips GENTLY. If you don't, your lips might bleed and it's a nasty experience. Also, you will not use any toothpaste or soap, just a clean toothbrush. A suggestion I would share is have a brush solely for your lips.

2. Apply any of the following products overnight or before you start your day:
(Choose only one)

- Petroleum Jelly
I use Apollo brand which is available at almost every drugstore nation wide. (You can use other brands as well like Vaseline) This is not my go-to product whenever I do this routine but this can also be used as a moisturizer. It prevents cracking of the skin which is usually what happens for dry lips. I don't use this as much for my lips since I prefer using this whenever I have small scratches and burns since this is really effective. Anyways, I love this product.

- Moisturizing Lip Balm (E.g. Maybelline Baby Lips, Chapstick, EOS)
I'm using Maybelline Baby Lips Lipbalm which I reviewed right here. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT. This is my favorite lip balm E V E R. This is a tinted lip balm which can really moisturize your lips like crazy. If you want a more detailed review I have it posted.

- Nivea Creme
Like Apollo petoleum jelly, this is also a multi purpose product. It can moisturize almost anything and can be used as a make-up remover at the same time. PLUS, it's also older than me which is a great evidence that this product really is good. For a detailed review, I have it posted right here. If you're going to use this during the day, be sure to use a small amount because the consistency of this product is really thick.

3. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day.
- Be sure to drink lots of water so as to prevent your lips from drying. If you're dehydrated, it's only natural for your lips to start drying up even after moisturizing it overnight. SO THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT for maintenance.

I hope this routine works for you guys!

My List of Must Watch Korean Dramas

I'm guilty of being IMMERSED in what they call the hallyu wave. I'm so addicted to watching korean celebrities do their thing! I mean who doesn't love Song Joongki (oppa ~) and Jackson Wang (oppa ~) ? I even began to understand a couple of korean words just by watching and listening to their songs and dramas. As such, I AM HIGHLY RECOMMENDING you guys to check the culture of korea because it's so beautiful.

This post is all about my thoughts and comments on my all-time favorite korean dramas. I will update this if ever I add something to the list.

(Photos and summaries are from http://asianwiki.com/Main_Page)

Currently watching:

Doctors

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis:

When Hye-Jung was young, her life was difficult. She was good at fighting but also studied well. Overcoming her tough situation, she is now a doctor.

Thoughts:

I AM CURRENTLY IN LOVE WITH THIS DRAMA SO FAR. I love this simply because in just 3 episodes I'm completely hooked with the plot and characters. Can I just marvel how perfect Park Shin Hye is? So far I have been laughing and crying at this drama because of how moving the story and the characters are. Hopefully it can maintain till the end.

(The list is arranged randomly)

1. My Girlfriend is a Nine-Tailed Fox

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis: (It's pretty long and contains a little bit of spoiler scenes so you can skip this and just read my thoughts)

Cha Tae-Woong (Lee Seung-Ki) is a spoiled young man with no interest in staying in college. Instead, Cha Tae-Woong wants to become an action actor. His wealthy grandfather Cha Poong (Byun Hee-Bong) though wants Tae-Woong to take his studies seriously & change his major from acting. When Cha Poong learns that Tae-Woong spent his next semester's tuition fees on an expensive motorcycle, he calls the police and reports the motorcycle as stolen. Cha Poong then picks up Tae-Woong up from the police station and attempts to drive him to a remote boarding school in hopes that he would change his major. At a rests area along the way, Tae-Woong is able to slip away from his grandfather and hide in the back of a delivery truck. The delivery truck then drives off. Eventually Tae-Woong gets out of the delivery truck, but finds himself in the middle of nowhere on a late rainy evening. He then gets a ride from a buddhist monk, who also gives him shelter at a Buddhist Temple.Late in the evening at the Buddhist Temple, Tae-Woong wonders off hoping to catch a signal for his cellphone. Suddenly he hears a woman's voice from a woman his cellphone. The woman instructs Tae-Woong to enter the temple and draw nine tails onto a painting of a fox. Once Tae-Woong draws the nine tails on the fox, he unknowingly frees the legendary nine tailed fox known as "Gumiho" (Shin Min-A). Tae-Woong fears for his life, but Gumiho just wants to be loved (and eat lots of beef!).
Thoughts:
AHHH! This is my number 1 korean drama EVER. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. This is like an all in one drama. Its genre is a mix of comedy, romance, fantasy and melodrama. My emotions are so abused by this drama because one minute I'm laughing like crazy and another I'm crying my heart out. I love how Shin Min Ah aced the cute and scary gumiho lady. I became a loyal fan of hers after watching this. I DOMU DOMU DOMU like her. (I don't know the spelling but Domu is really in korean I think because she always says that word in the drama and the subtitle translates really). Lee Seunggi is also great in this drama. Well, he's perfect at everything. The other casts are also fun to watch as well. They were perfect. The plot, on the other hand, is amazing but there are also a couple of loopholes. However, they were irrelevant anyway so it's not that noticeable. From start to end, this drama makes you obssessed with it so I highly recommend this.

2. My Name is Kim Sam Soon

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis:

Kim Sam-Soon gained 7kg after having her heart broken. She is a 29-year-old single who has an average life. She didn’t go to college. She doesn’t have her own apartment or a car. She doesn’t have
a boyfriend. Although she has baker’s license, she got fired last Christmas Eve. She is one of us.

Thoughts:

I watched this a long time ago so I don't remember much of this. So I'll just comment on why I added this to the list. What I love about this drama is how funny __ is (the one playing kim sam soon). What I got from this drama was love is blind that no matter how you look you can still have your ideal guy. Cliche, I know. The plot is cute. If you're into romantic/ comedy dramas, you HAVE to watch this. The cast is great. Normally you get irritated with the antagonist female (a.k.a. Kim Sam Soon's love rival) but with this drama you kind of like feel sorry for her. AND CAN I JUST ADD DANIEL HENNEY IS A PART OF THE CAST? *Fan girling*

  3. Lie To Me
Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis:

A woman in her late 20's is always asked "when are you going to get married?" On a whim, the woman then lies that she did get married.

Thoughts:

This is my recently finished drama. So I discovered this from the book I'm reading in wattpad "It Started With A Lie", the author said that her book is inspired by Lie To Me. I checked it out and loved it. I finished this drama in just four days. The characters are great but I felt like Sang-Hi's character was not maximized well. The story focused on the main casts so much that other characters were ignored. The plot is fun and kind of unique in a way so I loved it. Although, there are also a couple of loopholes and the ending was dragging. Overall, I still loved it.

 4. Gu Family Book

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis:

Choi Kang-Chi ( Lee Seung-Gi) is legendary gumiho that is half human and half animal. He struggles to live his life as a human and also falls in love.

Thoughts:

If you're into fantasy/ historical/ romance dramas, then this is the perfect show for you. The first two episodes are confusing and a bit dragging but once you finished that, it will get interesting. The plot is a little complicated because it focused on too many areas. There are too many problems to focus on. However, I loved it because of the love story between the characters of Lee Seunggi and Bae Suzy. I adore their chemistry. Overall, this drama was really interesting. I also cried a lot in this drama because of how moving it was.

5. Princess' Man

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis: (It's pretty long and contains a little bit of spoiler scenes so you can skip this and just read my thoughts)

In the palace, Kim Seung-Yoo becomes a teacher for Princess Kyung-Hye (Hong Soo-Hyun).Lee Se-Ryung (Moon Chae-Won) is the eldest daughter of Prince Su-Yang. Se-Ryung's first meeting with Seung-Yoo doesn't turn out to be a good experience.By chance, Seung-Yoo watches Se-Ryung losing control of a horse she is riding. The horse runs towards the edge of a cliff. Seung-Yoo saves Se-Ryung before tragedy ensues. Because of this incident Seung-Yoo and Se-Ryung become close.Meanwhile, in order to protect Princess Kyung-Hye and Prince Dan-Jong from the king's brother Su-Yang, King Moon-Jong asks Kim Kong-Seo if Princess Kyung-Hye and Seung-Yoo can marry. Kim Jong-Seo accepts and, consequently, turns away Se-Ryung. Unaware of the arranged marriage, Seung-Yoo and Se-Ryung become even closer.Princess Kyung-Hye is astonished that she will marry Seung-Yoo and not Se-Ryung. She begins to feel jealousy over their close relationship. Su-Yang learns of the proposed arranged marriage and sends assassins to kill Seung-Yoo before the marriage takes place. Su-Yang is unaware that his own daughter Se-Ryung is with Seung-Yoo.
Thoughts:
I forgot the plot of this drama because it was complicated. There were a lot going on and I don't know much about the history of Korea or if this is based on the past. The feel of this drama is like Romeo and Juliet. There were two people who fell in love against the conflict of their families and so much more. I loved it because of the heart-warming feel of this drama. The casts were perfect. The plot was a bit confusing but G R E A T in a way. All in all this is worth watching.

6. Queen In-Hyun's Man

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis:

Kim Boong-Do (Ji Hyun-Woo) is a noble man from the Joseon Dynasty, approximately 300 years ago. He then happens to travel through time and winds up in present day Seoul, South Korea. Kim Boong-Do then crosses paths with Choi Hee-Jin (Yoo In-Na), a not so successful actress. Choi Hee-Jin is currently performing as Queen In-Hyun in the drama series "New Jang Hee-Bin". These two people fall into a romantic relationship ...

Thoughts:

This was my first time travel drama and I loved it. The genre of this is a mix of historical/ romantic/ comedy/ fantasy. This drama is candy sweet. The chemistry of the main casts is electrifying. More so that they were dating at the time. The plot kind of left loose strings at the end but it was worth watching because every moment is interesting. There were no dragging parts. This is really worth your time.

7. 49 Days

Image from: Asianwiki.com

Synopsis: (It's pretty long and contains a little bit of spoiler scenes so you can skip this and just read my thoughts)
Ji-Hyun's (Nam Gyu-Ri) life seems to be storybook perfect. Her parents adore her and her friends all seem to admire her. Ji-Hyun is also engaged and set to marry her fiance Min-Ho (Bae Soo-Bin) in just a few days. Meanwhile, Lee-Kyung (Lee Yo-Won) is a woman who is completely distraught over her life and frequently contemplates suicide. She works the night shift at a convenience store, while sleeping in the afternoons. On a fateful day, Lee-Kyung gets off a bus and wanders around. She then stands in front of a busy street and attempts to kill herself by walking into oncoming traffic. At that time, somebody saves her life by pulling her back. At this moment, Ji-Hyun, who is driving nearby, hits her breaks, but can't avoid the semi-trailer truck that has stopped in the middle of the road.Moments later, Ji-Hyun walks out of her car in a daze. She is shocked to see herself being carted into an ambulance. The only person who seems to notice her standing in the road is a man on a motorcycle. The man on the motorcycle is the Scheduler (Jung Il-Woo) - an angel of sorts who awaits to take souls to their final destinations.Ji-Hyun follows her body into the ambulance and watches as the paramedics attempt to revive her body. At the hospital, Ji-Hyun meets the Scheduler again. The Scheduler tells Ji-Hyun that if three people (besides her family) genuinely sheds tears over her condition within the next 49 days, her body will awake from its coma and she can live again. Ji-Hyun instantly thinks of her fiance and two best friends and is certain she will live again. For the next the 49 days, Ji-Hyun then takes over the body of the suicidal Lee-Kyung in her quest to find three such persons. Ji-Hyun gets a job at a restaurant owned by her friend (Jo Hyun-Jae).At this time, Ji-Hyun's memory starts to return to her. Before the accident, Ji-Hyun remembers going to see her best friend In-Jung (Seo Ji-Hye) to show off her bridal gown. When she arrived, Ji-Hyun saw her best friend and her fiance sitting together in a car. They looked so intimate sitting together. She was then driving to confront them when the accident occurred. Ji-Hyun now realizes that it won't be so easy to find three people who truly loves her ...

This is the most heart-wrenching drama I've ever watched. I cried  most of the time. The plot was unique and perfect. This even got a remake in the Philippines because of how great it was. The casts were just amazing. PLUS, Jo Hyun- Jae is just drop dead gorgeous that it makes the drama more fun to watch. I can't say more but JUST WATCH THIS.

Thoughts:

I L O V E this. I don't care if you don't like historical dramas whatsoever. This is just a must watch korean drama. This has a mix of comedy/ romance/ historical/ time travel. The plot focused on reincarnation which is very interesting. It did not dissappoint AT ALL. Your emotions will change from LMAO to crying your heart out from time to time. The cast were just perfect. Even the antagonists were so great that you'll hate them while watching the drama. Please watch this, if you don't you'll miss out on a lot big time.

Thoughts:
Ahh, the current hype in korean dramas. This was not over rated. It is what it is, a great military/ medical korean drama. The plot was perfect although I find the antagonists not maximized well. This was funny, cheesy and sad at the same time and I love it. AND SONG JOONGKI IS SO CUTE. Overall, This is really a must watch show.

Thoughts:

Another Park Shin Hye drama. This is also a heart-wrenching drama. I don't know why every time Park Shin Hye stars in a show, it always ends up with me crying my eyes out. The plot has a lot of twists and turns. It was so interesting and obsessing to watch because the plot was so perfect you'll want to finish the whole show in a day to get to the ending. I just hated the antagonists because they acted so well. Overall, thumbs up for this drama.

11. City Hunter

Synopsis:

At the Blue House, Yoon-Sung meets Kim Na-Na (Park Min-Young), who works as a bodyguard there. The two people fall for each other even though Yoon-Sung was warned not to fall in love. An elaborate plan for revenge is his ultimate mission ....

Thoughts:
Lee Min Ho. THE BAE. He's so handsome in this drama that I just needed to add this to the list. This is an action packed romantic/comedy drama. The plot is a little exaggerated but great at the same time. The main casts were strong in their own way. There were no weak protagonists so you'll really love this.

12. My Love From Another Star

Image from: Asianwiki.com
Synopsis:

Do Min-Joon possesses a near perfect appearance and enhanced physical abilities involving his vision, hearing and speed. Do Min-Joon holds a cynical view to human beings, but he falls in love with actress Cheon Song-Yi.

Thoughts:
I adore the main casts simply because they were so F U N N Y. There are no boring parts in this drama. Every scene makes you want to get to the ending as soon as possible because the plot was perfect. Honestly, I don't remember much but how funny this drama was and how cute DO MIN JOON is. I just want to get my own alien.
13. Marriage Not Dating

Synopsis: A perfect man, Kong Ki-Tae (Yeon Woo-Jin), is forced to marry by his family, but he doesn't to marry. To make his family give up, he introduces a woman, Joo Jang-Mi (Han Groo), to them that they would never accept.

Thoughts:

This drama is chill. It has a breezy romantic comedy feel throughout. If you just want to relax and watch a simple romatic/ comedy show, then this is perfect for you. But you will not appreciate this if you want a drama with an excellent plot because it lacks depth. I added this on the list because it's a mood lifter for its funny scenes.

Soo-Ha sees her photo and becomes elated that he can finally see her. At the same time, Min Joon-Kook sees her photo while in prison. He is soon set to be released.

Thoughts:

This is another heart-wrenching drama. I cried my heart out throughout the drama. The plot was amazing. It was perfect. The casts performed really well. Even though the man in the main couple was younger than the woman, it did not affect the flow of the drama. It was not weird in a cougar type of way.

AND that's it! Don't be shy to comment what you think about my list below! If you also have suggestions, inform me about it!
I'll constantly update this post if I finished another must watched korean drama.
