Lily Collins Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Hollywood has been booming with glam and fame for decades now and I'm guilty to say that I do follow certain celebrities. Slash guilty, I'm proud to say that I'm a fan of the art that all the people in Hollywood produce from their movies to music. It's also inevitable for me not to idolize some celebrities with real talents and I do watch out for them. One of the people I look up to is Lily Collins.

I was just blown away on how she acts. From Snow White to Love, Rosie, she was always in sync with the roles she portray. Plus, she's also an advocate on anti-bullying which helps victims to stand up and be confident in themselves. In terms of beauty, on the other hand, we all know that she's really pretty in a classy way. Her eyebrows are just to die for. It's perfect. So in this video, and as a beauty blogger/ youtuber, also a fan, I tried a Lily Collins Inspired Makeup Tutorial.

Make-Up Tutorial For Eyeglasses

Hey guys! I'm here with another makeup tutorial! It's a collaboration with another youtuber, Zia Pascual.

So we've thought of a tutorial for people who wear eyeglasses. My take on this is neutral eyeshadow: brown, tan and white with cat eye look. Plus a poppin nude - ish pink lipstick.

Comment down below what you think about this tutorial!

Marvel: X-Men Jubilee Make Up Tutorial

Hey loves! So I posted another video in my Youtube channel. It's all about my X-men Jubilee inspired make up tutorial which is in collaboration with another youtuber. If you guys are a fan of X-men (not just the movies okay! haha), you'll know that Jubilee is actually one of the main characters before. She's the youngest (I think) of all the main casts. What I know for sure is she exceeds youth with her colorful clothing. This actually makes her stand out because the other characters like Wolverine, Rogue, etc wear their traditional X-men uniform while Jubilee sports her yellow jacket on top. Her powers are like fireworks; small bombs, I think. Anyway, I always wondered why she seldom wear her glasses, right?

This is my tutorial, I hope you guys like it!

Simple Everyday Make-up Tutorial

Hi guys! So as you know, I've been trying to upload videos on Youtube every Sunday. This video is a little late because there were some issues with my editing. SERIOUSLY, I'm having a problem editing my videos flawlessly but it's okay I'll learn. I know that I'm still starting and some of my videos are not that good, but bare with me I'll improve through experience and time. I'll really appreciate it if you guys can give me constructive criticisms or suggestions so I can learn from them. PLUS, support me in my journey. :)

Anyway, this video is about my everyday make-up tutorial. This is also my no make-up make-up since I don't really wear over blown makeup every single day. I just use make up so my face won't be haggard since I really have an oily face. This is good for people who want to look natural. This can also be applied if you're still in school and you're not allowed to wear make-up since this is not that noticeable.

MeNow 15 Color Contour Cream Series Review

Hey loves! I waited to post my review on this one after I'm done with editing and finalizing my color correcting and contouring tutorial on Youtube.

Before I put the link in this post, I'll start with the product review first. So I bought this product mainly because it's very C H E A P. It only costs a whopping 150 pesos about $3.20. At first glance, I thought that maybe the reason why this is so cheap is because it's fake. There are a lot of sg cosmetics sold nowadays so I asked the seller if this is authentic before buying it. She told me that it was indeed authentic but I'm not sure about it because some sellers lie about the authenticity of the product. I bought it anyways because I saw that it was a China brand and noticed that all of the sellers who have products from MeNow brand offer cheap prices. I took a shot and I'm glad I did because it performed well beyond my expectations.

So I'll just copy my brand background from my MeNow TrueLips Lip Liner review.
A brief background of what I know about the MeNow brand is it's made in China. They're known for their amazing kissproof lipsticks and it's very affordable. I read that it follows US regulations in cosmetics in one description at shopee. (For more information check their site: http://www.iou-mn.com/about.html) However, if you guys have sensitive skin and are scared to try this then don't. I don't know if this is completely safe so try this at your own risk. I'm merely reviewing my experience in this product.

The product packaging looks like a normal palette.

It has a plastic cover which is pretty durable for it's price. It's also very handy for a 15 concealer palette since it's petite. The products are placed neatly inside the palette. Inside the box, you'll see the product description an a little picture tutorial. Overall, I loved the packaging.

I don't know if there are harmful ingredients on this product but check it out guys. In my experience, I did not have breakouts using this product but we all have different skin sensitivity so I can't say if this will be okay with all of you.

Swatches:

I'm amazed about the flexibility of this product because it's like an all in one palette. It can be used for color correcting and contouring. In addition, it also has an illuminator for added glow which is the white shade. So the flexibility is perfect. For the product itself, it's creamy and glides smoothly on the skin. I'm very surprised to see that it is indeed pigmented. The swatches you can see at my pictures is just one swipe. The smell, on the other hand, is unpleasant. For me, I can get over it after a while but I don't know if you guys will like it.

So this is my color correcting and contouring tutorial:

I shot the video at around 10:30 am in the morning. It's really easy to blend when you use a nice tool. I used sponges for my video that's why it took me longer to blend. I already tried blending it with a brush and it was much easier. What I noticed is that it's not that pigmented once blended because you can see traces of my dark undereye circles even if I blend it with a brush. HOWEVER, it's really great for only 150 pesos.

(I actually wiped my lip liner already in this picture because it kept on transferring to my food)
I took this picture at around 2:40 pm that's 4 hours and 10 minutes apart, my face got really oily so I blotted it first before taking a picture. As you can almost all the product is completely gone. You can really notice my under eye circles. It's also very hard to retouch because you've added so many layers on your face that you're pores start to suffocate. OH, by the way, this is not that light on the face so you can feel that you have make up on. But for me it's bearable.

In summary:
Packaging: 5/5
Smell: 2/5
Pigment: 4/5
Price: 5/5
Flexibility: 5/5
Longevity: 3/5

Verdict:
I will try other contouring products that are also cheap. This actually a great product for it's price but the longevity is not that great so I'm torn.

IF YOU GUYS ARE INTERESTED, I will be putting the link of the seller below. She's really great. She even gave me freebies! YAY

3 Steps To Exfoliate Your Lips

Don't you guys hate it when your matte lipsticks emphasize the flaws of your lips? Whether it's drying or not exfoliated enough that you can see cracks everywhere. It's just a horrifying experience that I can relate to. So I have a solution which I hope will work for you guys as it worked for me. This can be done every day or every other day depends on how dry your lips are.

(Disclaimer: I'm not a professional, this is just what I do with my lips, so do this at your own risk.)
This can be done as a night or day regimen since all of the products can be used as a lip balm anyway.

1.GENTLY Brush your lips with a soft, clean toothbrush.
-  This will remove the dry skin from your lips. Be sure to buy a soft toothbrush to avoid irritation in your lips. AND I will emphasize again, brush your lips GENTLY. If you don't, your lips might bleed and it's a nasty experience. Also, you will not use any toothpaste or soap, just a clean toothbrush. A suggestion I would share is have a brush solely for your lips.

2. Apply any of the following products overnight or before you start your day:
(Choose only one)

- Petroleum Jelly
I use Apollo brand which is available at almost every drugstore nation wide. (You can use other brands as well like Vaseline) This is not my go-to product whenever I do this routine but this can also be used as a moisturizer. It prevents cracking of the skin which is usually what happens for dry lips. I don't use this as much for my lips since I prefer using this whenever I have small scratches and burns since this is really effective. Anyways, I love this product.

- Moisturizing Lip Balm (E.g. Maybelline Baby Lips, Chapstick, EOS)
I'm using Maybelline Baby Lips Lipbalm which I reviewed right here. I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT. This is my favorite lip balm E V E R. This is a tinted lip balm which can really moisturize your lips like crazy. If you want a more detailed review I have it posted.

- Nivea Creme
Like Apollo petoleum jelly, this is also a multi purpose product. It can moisturize almost anything and can be used as a make-up remover at the same time. PLUS, it's also older than me which is a great evidence that this product really is good. For a detailed review, I have it posted right here. If you're going to use this during the day, be sure to use a small amount because the consistency of this product is really thick.

3. Keep yourself hydrated throughout the day.
- Be sure to drink lots of water so as to prevent your lips from drying. If you're dehydrated, it's only natural for your lips to start drying up even after moisturizing it overnight. SO THIS STEP IS IMPORTANT for maintenance.

I hope this routine works for you guys!

Nichido Eyebrow Pencils Review + Three Steps Tutorial

Heyuuuh! I'm on fire this week. (HA HA) Three posts in a row. I just feel like my blog is lacking content, that's why I'm going to keep posting stuffs. I actually have a line up already, from make up to food and more. If you guys have suggestions on how I can improve my blog, I'm open to it just comment down below.  xoxo

So I was looking at all my make-up and found my Nichido brow pencils. I just thought that maybe it will be a good idea to write a review about it and at the same time post my eyebrow routine. As we all know, EYEBROWS ON F L E E K is a very popular trend right now. One of which I don't follow. I don't have anything against it. I actually find it very gorg, it's just that it's time consuming for me. Thus, what I do is just clean up the stray hairs on my brows and fill it up.

I have two favorite Nichido brow pencils. I actually think they're similar. It's just the packaging is different. Here it is!

I bought the small one a long time ago that's why the writing on the package faded already. What I like about the small one is you don't have to sharpen it anymore. You can just twist it. However, I prefer the other one simply because if you twist it a little more than what is shown in the picture, it'll break. I swear it is so fragile to the point that it became very annoying. I lost like a quarter of it already. The other one looks like a pencil but it's plastic. It's so smooth when you sharpen it unlike the actual pencil ones. Moreover, I feel like it has more content than the other one because it's longer and bigger. Moving on, they're actually only 60.00 pesos each and comes with only two colors (I think) black and brown.

(Remember: when choosing the color of your brow pencil, make sure that it's one to two shades lighter than your actual hair) I tried using black brow pencil and believe me I looked horrible.

They have the same color and texture. The texture of both pencils is the same. They're like cream/ gel type brow pencils. I like how they're soft. The only thing I worry about this is it smudges a lot so you have to clean up whenever you're done with your eyebrow routine.

Verdict:

I love them both. They both have their pros and cons. I would prefer the pencil type in everyday use. However, I'll also buy the other one for when I'm traveling so I wouldn't sharpen anymore. Plus, it's smaller and can fit on my mini make up bag. Besides, these pencils are very affordable for just 60 pesos.

EASY EYEBROW ROUTINE TUTORIAL

So my routine is not really to make an eyebrow on fleek style. I just fill it in so it can look bolder. This will be really easy . You'll just need your eyebrow pencil with brush and you're good to go. Let's start! (Reminder: Make sure you shave/ thread/ pluck any stray hairs around your brows)

UGH my oh so haggard face (HA HA) Here is my face without any make up except for foundation.

Step #1:

Outline the bottom and upper corner of your brow. (It really depends on you if you want darker brows then outline everything, but I think this'll be sufficient)

Step #2:

Brush in an upward and inner motion to fill in the brow until you can't see the line anymore.

Step #3

Clean any smudges outside your brow.

And VOILA! it's done!

Now do the other one and it'll look like this: (YAY for filled in brows)

Sooo, what do you guys think?

Nichido Naturally Beautiful Eyeshadow Palette Review + Pretty in Pink Eyeshadow Tutorial

Helllooo! I've decided to post my first make-up tutorial after practicing so many times. I'll try to make this post very informational so you guys can learn or follow what I'm doing. I'm also open to comments and suggestions on how you all feel about my tutorial. Soo, let's start!

I was rummaging through my sister's drawer (I asked permission lol) to find something and I passed by this Nichido Naturally Beautiful eyeshadow palette which she bought a long time ago but used 1-2 times only. So I added this to my "review" lists. I forgot the price of this product but I know that all Nichido products are pretty affordable.

It looks like this:

(sorry for the scratches this was bought a long time ago)

The product contains seven shimmery eyeshadows and two matte blushes. It also includes an eyeshadow brush (ours is damaged huhu).

Swatched 2-3 times using fingers (colors from left to right)

Swatched 2-3 times using brush (colors from left to right)

What I like about Nichido Naturally Beautiful eyeshadow palette:
1. Beginner friendly (If you're still practicing make-up)
- The reason is because it's not too pigmented and you can correct it if you make a mistake.
2. Travel friendly
- It has seven neutral eyeshadow colors and two blushes, what more do you need?
3. Budget friendly
- All Nichido products are affordable. Nuff said.

What I don't like this product:
1. The brush sucks
2. It's not that pigmented so you have to use more to make the color pop. (this is a con if you're not a beginner)
3. It doesn't have matte eyeshadows

This is the end of my product review, now I'm going to test it by adding my pretty in pink eyeshadow tutorial below.

Items you'll need:

1. Nichido naturally beautiful eyeshadow palette
2. Foundation
3. Pressed powder
4. Concealer
5. Eyeshadow brush
6. Face powder brush / sponge

Optional Items:

1. Beauty Blender
2. Primer

Step #1

Prep your face the way you like it.

My face make-up routine consists of the following:
1. Primer (Quick FX No Shine Mattifier)
2. Foundation (Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse)
3. Concealer (Shawill stick concealer)
4. Bronzer and Blush (EB Advance Blush Duo)
5. Press Powder (Maybelline Shine Free)
6. Lipstick (Nyx - I forgot the shade) - I just dabbed a little so it'll look sweet and natural.
7. Brows (Nichido eyebrow pencil in the shade of brown)

Step #2

Regain your energy (HAHA)

Step #3

After everything, let's move to eyeshadow. As you can see I have dark skin around my eyes so I need to prepare (Foundation + concealer) it first. This is important to avoid compromising the color of your eyeshadow.

Using my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, I'll just dab it around my eyes. Then blend it using a beauty blender (a dupe I bought at Divisoria which costs only Php 50.00). I used my fingers on the right side to show you guys that you can blend without make up tools.

The next thing I did was put on my Shawill stick concealer (It also served as my highlight). I basically did the same thing.

Step # 4

Now that your eyelids are ready, let's start with the actual eyeshadow. First thing you need to remember is just be creative in whatever you're doing.

The first thing you'll do is find neutral color to put as your base.

The reason you can't see the color is because it's so light. That's what makes it perfect.

Then, pat a light color of your choice to the inner corner of your eyes. (I normally use white on this) Remember: just dab it first, blend it after everything is in place.

As you can see, I chose a gradient style. The darkest color should be in the outer corner of your eyelids.

Now we blend it inwardly. You can use your brush or fingers on this.

Step #5

Using your pinky, dab it into your eyeshadow and slide it carefully on the bottom corner of your eye to add a smokey effect.

Step #6

Clean up by sliding a concealer on the edge of your eye then blend.

Step #7

Set your look by carefully putting your press powder on top.

Step #8

Finish your look with a mascara or eyeliner. (I skipped the eyeliner on this one)

Sooo here it is:

Okay guys I saw that my eyeshadow is not even in the picture, but I swear it's just the light playing tricks with my camera.

Love,
