Shopping has always been one of my favorite things to do. (Assuming that I have money to spare, of course haha) This hobby just has a certain quality that gives people happiness. It just feels fulfilling to buy something after wanting it for so long. This experience exudes joy by giving you something new to cherish. Personally, I love buying things that I need. Also, I make sure that the item will last for a long time since I don't really shop a lot.

 However,

the catch to this experience is that you can't always shop personally or sometimes the product you want is not available in local retail stores.

Some people will tell you to stop worrying because there are international online stores that ship to the Philippines. BUT DID YOU KNOW? Most transactions of online shopping have been nightmares some of us can't get over with, including me. Thus, international online shopping has been on my last resort since forever.

This is my honest to goodness thoughts about this company. I have not tried this site yet. HOWEVER, it does sound really promising. It's also a very helpful way for online shoppers to be able to buy hassle-free from international stores. 

 I'm also speaking for myself since I have encountered tons of problems with items that are being delivered here especially with taxes and importation fees (which I hope will not be a problem anymore with the new law but still). I also remember one time, I bought something from Ebay, it took two months to get here which was a disappointment because I was really looking forward to get the item.  In addition, I've read so many reports on Facebook and the rest of social media on how people also experience problems (such as, their products being swapped, fees are doubled, long waiting time, etc) in their transactions. It's no secret to everyone that online shopping internationally is a pain for reasons their own.

For about Php13,000 you already have a camera, tripod, sd card and many more!

Makeup has always been one of my favorite trend nowadays. As you know, I'm a beauty blogger so I'm really up to date to popular beauty trends. One of my most wanted product for a while now is the Anastasia glow kit. I just love how it shines brightly which leaves your skin blooming. Ahh lippies. If you've been reading my blog posts, you'll notice that I'm obssessed with lippies of any kind as long as it's great, Thus, you can't blame me if I'm attracted to Kylie LipKits because it has been an ongoing makeup rave for quite a long time now. I just want to try those nude matte lipsticks on my lips.
I was actually shocked that Uskoop cater to kyliecosmetics directly because it was not on the list. However, I'm not complaining since this gives us 100% authenticity which is great for makeup lovers. Don't you just hate it when you spend your money for an original price but then receive a knockoff?


I was S H O C K E D at the price! I often see Kylie Lipkits at 2000 - 3000 pesos online. Although, 1990 pesos is still expensive, at least your sure that what you're getting is what you paid for.

There is a 210 pesos difference in both prices which is quite a lot. (You can buy a happy meal in this amount) Although, there are some Kylie lipkit sellers that priced their product for 1990 too.


I love love love heels. I found this item in forever 21 US. I've been searching for this exact design for a long time now so I was just so psyched to see it in the site. One good thing about online shopping is that you can see the designs without hassling your self. Unlike if you go to the store and found out that your shoe size is out of stock. Right? It's better to canvas what you want first before buying it. 



I'm trying to stay fit but I lack the motivation to do so. But with this chic ative mesh-paneled leggings from Forever 21, I can be energized to werk it!

Nuffnang Blog Prize: Oppo F1S Review


My blog has only been running for months now and I've strived to make it well-known and reliable. One of the things that I did was join an organization that caters to bloggers which is Nuffnang. I took the opportunity and became a member. It was fun because you can discover awesome bloggers who gets featured every month. Plus, you can also join contests. And so much more.

So last  August 26, 2016, I joined a blog contest entitled "How to be a #SelfieExpert" and the prize was OppoF1s phone which was the latest release of Oppo.  There were a lot of entries including mine. And alas, last September 5, 2016 I was announced as one of the winners. It was a surreal and unforgettable moment for me because I strived hard for it. Also because I won an OppoF1s on my own hardwork which is one of my achievements in my 21 years.

I got an e-mail and they asked me to go to Nuffnang headquarters at BGC. I got a little lost and the commute was tragic (because of the traffic ) But nevertheless, I got my Oppo phone.

I will just review OppoF1s on my terms. Disclaimer: I'm not a techy person so I'll just review this based on my experience.

It comes with a small box, and in it includes Oppof1s, silicon case, guide booklet, warranty card, SIM ejector (which I searched for hours ), earphones and charger. I love how they include a silicon case in the package because it's hard to find a case for a latest released phone. In addition, it comes with a pre-applied screen protector which is very handy for a new phone. The appearance is very sleek and elegant which is great.

I love the phone since it's fast with 3gb ram. It also packs a punch with its 32gb internal memory. The camera, on the other hand, was the main focus of this phone. With its 16mp front and 13mp back camera. I have no complains with the camera because it's really good for me. The pictures came out clear. Videos are also good in this phone.

I haven't tried the phone that much yet since I got it only for a week now. But so far, I love it. It's worth your money considering the specs and camera.

Change The Way You See Love


L O V E. 

What a common word to say nowadays.

I've heard tons of people, even me, easily utter that term like it was something so easily achieved. And I guess in someway, it is, but it's just so confusing how vast and wide the definition of this goes. And at what point will infatuation turn into love because these two are almost twins. I can maybe talk my whole life time and still not grasp the pure bliss of what love is. And that leaves me in quandary. 

It's not a surprise that the usual focus of love is the I'm-going-to-marry-my-soulmate kind of relationship with someone. Since it's love's most universal form. I haven't experience that firecracker love with a special someone in my 20 years. A few times, I thought I did. But thinking about it now, I feel like I had said the sentence "I love you" too many times that it became somewhat of a habit. And eventually, lost its vital purpose. My confusion on what love truly is reduced the pure essence of its meaning.


This uncertainty went for a long time. I had a couple of trial and errors courtesy of my mind and heart. But through my failures, I started to differentiate love and infatuation. I encountered failed relationships with friends which seemed so great at first but became destructive at the end. You know those relationships which give you butterflies and just light your life in the beginning but then fades away after some time? Yeah, those. I also had hobbies which I seemed passionate enough to love but then became such a taxing task at the end. I can go on and on with things and people that I thought I love but I didn't, because let me tell you, I have a lot to share.


So with that said, I'm in awe to share that experience changed the way I see love. 

I have so much to be grateful for because I truly have so much to love. I love my family, because I can count on them whenever or wherever. Because no matter what, they'll be there for me. I love my newfound passion in blogging and shooting videos. It can sometimes be time consuming, but I'm happy. I love photography because it lets me capture my greatest moments so it can last longer. And with Huawei P9, my experiences can be expressed in its purest and clearest form. Bringing a magnificent change in mobile photography with its dual lenses and 12 megapixels camera, it really is a craft made for royalty. And these make me so blessed because I love so many that it lights up my world.


And thus, the alluring streak of light shines brightly in the vivid hues of the sky. I was not in a loop of quandary anymore. I've seen and experience the true aspect of what love is.

 Love is as vast and wide as the sky. You can feel the love in everything and still crave for more. It is your shiniest beacon in your lightest and darkest moments. AND no matter what obstacle and hurdles life throws your way, there is no way for the bliss to be blocked completely.

Change The Way You See Happiness


Say The Words, "I Am Content."

Passing by the streets in Manila, I see unprivileged individuals beg for money just to survive day by day. I feel saddened for they don't have the luxury to live life normally and comfortably like what we all deserve. Thus, from time to time, I try to help them by giving food. This experience might be common to most of us. But what really shocked me was how I saw these individuals laugh and smile in the littlest of things. It was mind boggling for an 18-year old me, how they can be happy when they have so little. And so I always wondered, and wondered.




I once lived my life always craving for what I wanted. Never stopping for a minute to think about what I needed since it was always given to me. I was happy, or at least I thought I was. Until a year ago, when we had to limit our expenses due to overbearing bills. This was the experience that paved the way for me to change my perception of what happiness truly is.

Although, this was a far cry from what other's are experiencing, it was a life changing moment for me. All my spoiled "shopping wishlists" were put to a halt. I was bummed, of course. Such a brat I was, I envied others. AND I was so wrong in so many levels. From then on, I started to live life with only having my basic needs and sometimes getting a little of what I'm craving for. As time passed by, I started to stop minding it anymore. And eventually, all my false notions of happiness faded away. I was no longer the materialistic girl.

I was a changed woman.

I now understood why I saw them smile, they were content just to survive in this world we live in. And that moment was engraved in my mind as if I framed a picture of their joy. Happiness is just a simple thing to have, yet complex at the same time. We turn it into a math problem, when really, happiness will freely flow once you attain contentment. once you accept life's simplest pleasures.

Let this be a lasting thought,


 "True happiness blooms, not with gaining what you want, but by being content with what you have."

 That once in a lifetime moment that was engraved in my mind changed the way I saw happiness. AND I WANT MORE. More memories of happiness through small things, just pure untainted bliss. I want these kinds of experiences to last forever -- photography. Someday I want to be able to capture the grandest and happiest joys of others like this:

In order to take photos like this, I need to have a camera that can act as my companion - worthwhile and not overbearing. Change The Way You See Beauty


"Beauty without heart is like a dull mannequin - it lacks glow."
First of all,


Beauty, as defined by Merriam-Webster dictionary, is the quality of being physically attractive. Sounds legit coming from the dictionary, right? I mean there's no question that this is a correct definition. I used to think that way too. You see, we were raised by the society to think that beauty on the outside matters. Which it does. BUT sometimes, we put so much importance in it that it overshadows beliefs that are more special than an attractive physical appearance.  

It's more than that. 

Beauty is much more than just on the outside. As ironic as it was, society also taught me to think deeper and not be blinded by the trend of beauty nowadays. I learned from people who inspire others as well. Plus the big influence my dad taught me while I was growing up. 

I'm a "kikay" 20-year old woman who loves makeup and anything related to beauty. I love reading articles from beauty bloggers on how to have great skin, lips, etc. Basically, all the things they can suggest to make myself more beautiful on the outside. Moreover, their reviews on beauty products helped me a lot. These in turn, prompt me to make my own beauty and lifestyle blog which consists of product reviews, tips and the like on anything related to beauty. Thus, I regard beauty as an important aspect in my life. And there's nothing wrong with that. Having something to be passionate about is good for us. 

 HOWEVER,

 What's shallow is putting so much effort on being physically attractive that you lose your care for the world. At some point in my life, I've become that person. Back in high school and college, I always wanted to impress others with how I look even to the point that I couldn't go out without makeup to cover my blemishes. What I was thinking back then was, If I could look good, I can feel good. But there was always that empty feeling somewhere in my heart.

 Funny thing was, my dad would always tell me that being attractive is nothing if you don't have qualities that will make you a good person. And such a kid that I am, I ignore him thinking that it was just a common sermon that parents make.

But slowly, as I was growing up, I saw beauty for what it was. Its glow shines so bright that you can see a beautiful person with just one look. And the catch was, it's not based on outer appearance. BUT RATHER, the good inside.

I saw fellow students from my school strive hard for their dreams and help others along the way. I saw heroes save stranded victims from natural calamities. I saw teachers very passionately pass their knowledge to their students in hopes that they would apply it for the betterment of their lives. I saw celebrities represent people who can't defend themselves and want to be heard. I saw my friends go through lengths just to help me whenever I need them. I saw my siblings support me in goals that I'm passionate about. I saw unprivileged people smile and pray as if they're  thankful for what they have. I saw my dad work very hard to raise us single handedly. 

Lastly, I saw myself shine whenever I do something good.

 AND ALL THESE ARE BEAUTIFUL.

 As such, this motivated me to change my outlook in beauty.

 As Audrey Hepburn once said, "The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years." 
So heed my words my dear readers, 

No matter how beautiful you are on the outside, if you don't have a good personality, you'll never be truly beautiful. Since your bad attitude will outshine your beauty.

 As a blogger and youtuber, I feel that a camera is a staple need for me. Since I shoot photos for my blog and videos for Youtube, I'm looking for top cameras which can deliver high quality results.
