Your Go To Hygiene Care On The Go - Feminine Mist by Beauty Library

I used to think it's hard to maintain hygiene when you're on the go. There are tons of things for us girls to consider a must in our bag like wet wipes, tissue or soap. How do you wash every time you need to do your thing in public restrooms especially when you're in a hurry, right? It has been an ongoing hassle before I found my new favorite go to for feminine hygiene.

Yes, you read the title right. My go to hygiene care on the go is Beauty Library's Feminine Mist. It is the first no need to rinse, all natural, anti bacterial and odor neutralizer feminine spray for the intimate area. The product comes with a very chic packaging in two variants - Green Tea and French Rose. My personal pick of course is the French Rose. I just like the color but both variants are pretty good. It's also very affordable with 189 SRP for 30 ml and 249 SRP for 50ml and I could vouch that it's worth every penny.

My suggestion of course is it's better to buy the 30ml so it can fit your small bag in case you go to events but if you always carry a bigger one then go ahead and buy the bigger size. Nevertheless, you'll be getting a product worth your every penny. Afterall, hygiene always must come first for us ladies. ;)

If you have already decided on buying the Feminine Mist, it's available in selected Rustan's Supermarket, Robinson's Department Stores and Supermarkets, Watsons, Shopwise, Welcome Supermarkets, All Day Supermarkets and Mercury Drug Stores Nationwide. Yes, pretty much everywhere.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your new go to hygiene care!

Kaye G Naturelle Lip Tint Review and Swatches | Affordable Local Lip Tints?

It's been a while since I reviewed a makeup product, so why not start again with something affordable, local and trending, right?

We'll focus on Kaye G Naturelle Lip & Cheek Tints today. First and foremost, Kaye G Naturelle is owned by Kaye Gomez, a Filipina entrepreneur, who focuses on organic and safe beauty products. It's an online shop which buyers can reach through Facebook and Instagram. (Links will be provided at the end of the article). P.S. The shop does not only offer cheek and lip tints but has a wide variety of makeup and skin care products as well, therefore, it's worth visiting!

The cheek and lip tints have 5 variations: Dolly Pink, Peach, Burgundy, Apple and Prunes with each costing Php 120. A fair price for an organic lip tint. Did I say organic? Yup! Their products are 100% organic with key ingredients of Aloe Vera Extract, Vitamin E, Glycerine, Food Grade Colorant, Flavorant and Natural Preservatives. This means that it's safe for kids, teens, pregnant and lactating moms. In addition, their ingredients are all FDA approved for cosmetics.

Let's start with my review on the product itself. The packaging for me was a little inconvenient for the tint. It has a roll on type pack which is common. However, the texture of this tint isn't watery and more of a gel product which makes it harder to apply in a roll on. A lip cream type of packaging would make it perfect for application. The price, on the other hand, is normal for 120 pesos - not expensive and not too cheap either.

For the performance of the product, I personally like the taste and smell. It has a bubblegum scent with no bitter taste unlike other tints I've tried. It's also lightweight and dries easily on the lips which makes it look like the natural color of your lips. Have caution in applying on the cheeks though since it dries up after seconds of application. The longevity is a plus since it stays up all day and it was even hard to remove when I did my swatches.

Overall, this is a good buy. It has various shades to choose from and the product has a great performance. My only comment would be on the packaging since I had a bit of problem in applying the product. I would give this an 8/10. Perfect if they somehow change the packaging in the future.

Careline Kiss Sticks Product Review

It's been a while since I posted a product review, hope this article helps for you! (I can't believe that one rhymed, lol)

Anyways, the product that I would be reviewing today is the very popular new-ish release of Careline which is their Kiss Sticks line. It's a lipstick line where in they designed it as a pen type product. But what makes it so popular and special?

First is the availability of this product, we all know Careline is in almost all department stores nationwide. And recently, they are also in partnership with Beauty Mnl which is a well-known and reliable online shop here in the Philippines. All of these makes Careline Kiss Sticks convenient and available for purchase in just the tip of your hand. In addition, they offer 12 shades which almost ranges to all your needs - from nude to red and even green and purple.

The packaging, on the other hand, is a normal pen type lipstick with the brand logo and the very unique and I must say the one I like the most is their tagline which is "Better than basic". At first glance, you will only see the normal pen type pencil but when you pull the top tip of the lippie, you will see their built-in sharpener. I'm shookt. Literally. I didn't expect a sharpener because you can twist it to have more product unlike other lippies which needs it. But, if you prefer a sharp pointed lippie and not the rounded one, then the built-in sharpener gives you a choice.

Let's get on the most awaited part which is the product itself. For me, it lives up to its claim that it glides smoothly on the lips because you wouldn't feel dryness once applied. Plus, the pigmentation is really great because one swipe and you'll see the vibrant color of the lipstick. Although, you will need to exfoliate your lips before applying it because the product will highlight the dryness of your lips. For those looking for kissproof lipsticks, well, this is not for you because it transfers.

Overall, I like this product very much. It's affordable with only P175 pesos each and Careline didn't sacrifice the quality of the product. It transfers but it is very lightweight so retouch isn't a hassle. What do you guys think of this product?

Rucy's Vanity Waterproof Mascara Review

Mascaras have always been my go-to makeup. If I'm in a rush or just plain lazy, I always put on a light swipe of my favorite Mascara. There's just something about having crazy long and bold lashes that I love. In addition, I find it less hassle than putting on falsies. I'm horrible at applying falsies, the glue always messes it up! (Yes Fris blame it on the glue..)

Anyway, this is why I'm always hungry for Mascaras. (You know me, it's always going to come back with food). There are a lot of mascaras in the market. What I look for is first - it should be water proof, second - the specified category of lengthening lashes which differs in their wand. Now, Rucy's Vanity - a Korean cosmetics online brand here in the Philippines - offered to give me their product for a review. I actually have the haul here. This time, I will write a detailed review on their product - Rucy's Vanity Waterproof Mascara.

Since Rucy's Vanity is an online store, it's pretty much accessible to all internet users at http://rucysvanityph.com/. Also, a plus side is that it's really affordable with Php 180.00 pesos per piece. For a waterproof mascara, it's already a steal. The packaging, on the other hand, is a classic black which is a safe choice. I'm okay with this because it's simple and sleek. Moreover, the cap twists smoothly which makes it easy to use.

The mascara wand is very convenient with its thin bristles. This lets you apply the product smoothly without bumping to the skin around your eyes. Although, it does clump a little which can be fixed with a little bit of zigzag motion whilst applying.

RESULTS:

As you can see, it really lengthen and made my lashes look bolder. Although, it did have clumps which I'm a little disappointed at. However, this survived my cry fest while watching Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo which proves that it really is waterproof.

VERDICT:

This is a steal because it's made in Korea and is affordable. Most Korean cosmetics are really expensive so it's a breath of fresh air to encounter a cheaper one. The product is high quality and waterproof so thumbs up. The only problem is that it clumps a little, just apply in zigzag motion. I will buy this for sure!

Oseur Facial Cream Review - Cheapest Anti-Acne EVER?

Pimples or Acne have always been a major 'blemish' problem for most people, including me. Those red bumps are not only a distracting flaw but also a warning of how dirty your skin is. It has various causes, from bacteria to reaction from menstruation (for women), making it one of the most common blemish one can have. Most brands know this, that's why there are many anti-acne or acne prevention products in the market. However, not all of them are effective to most people and it's really hard to find a product that is suitable for your skin. It's kind of a trial and error process, really. You find the product good for you after trying out a couple but to those people who can't afford to keep on buying skin care products for acne prevention, I have a solution for you.

This post is all about Oseur Pearl Facial Cream - an affordable all around cream for the face. It has three variants, the red packaging for the oily and dry skin and the pearl packaging. In this review, I will be focusing on the red packaging for dry skin because I've seen results on this one. For the oily skin and pearl packaging, my skin didn't react well and it caused me breakouts. The dry skin variant is only Php 20- 25 for 10grams, I forgot the exact price. You can buy the Oseur facial cream in any
Mercury drug stores. This gives the buyers an assurance that its FDA approved and somewhat safe to use.

The packaging is not sturdy. It's made of plastic and the cap gets opened easily. I suggest for you to refrain on putting this on your bag because it might open easily. The product, on the other hand, appears yellow but when applied to the skin, it turns white.

In the product description, it is stated that it can be used as a makeup base. I sincerely suggest you to NOT use it during day time as a cream or a makeup base. First, it's oily as seen in the picture above. Second, it's very white and does not match any skin tone. Third, it smells unpleasantly overwhelming. For me, I just use this as a night cream and leave it overnight.

Directions (as stated in the product description given)

Wash with warm water and mild soap before each application. For best results, apply for 2-3 times a day - morning, afternoon and night. Get a small dab of cream by the fingertips and spread over the face. Rub well into the skin until it disappears. Apply extra on the blemishes you have, also can be applied to neck for women. Apply this cream as a make-up base for cosmetics. For men: this cream is an invisible medication that can be worn all day and all night to help dry up, clear pimples and make your skin smooth.

Results:

(This article has been long overdue that's why the result is dated back in January, hihi sorry)

As seen in the picture, there is a huge difference in my face. My pimples really dried up. Although, I haven't seen any difference in my blackheads. In addition, my face did not feel smooth after application, just the same feel I had before. Nevertheless, I bought this for my acne problem and it did the job, it also whitened my face a bit that's why I stopped applying and focused on my neck instead.

Verdict:

This is probably the cheapest facial cream I've encountered that has positive results. Although, I must warn you that this product needs maintenance because once you stop using it, pimples will emerge. Plus, if you're going to use this, also apply on your neck so that it will both whiten not just your face. (like mine did lol)

Beauty Now and Next Lip Collection Review with Swatches

Christmas passed, but that doesn't mean gift giving is paused until next year. No, people still have occasions where in a special token is well appreciated. The product I'm going to review today is a perfect surprise for makeup lovers. I recently stumbled upon a great gift set in Watsons.  Most of us know that Watsons - a local drugstore which sells beauty,  medicine, food,  and many more - release perfectly affordable gift sets throughout the year.

The Beauty Now and Next gift set contains 8 lippies all in all - 4 lipsticks and 4 lipglosses. It's very versatile because the colors have light pink to vampy red in it.  What's great about this set is it only costs 250 pesos. Certainly a cheap steal, right?  Plus,  if you prefer nudes,  they also have a set for those too. I bought this particular set because it has lipglosses.

The packaging of the lipsticks are not sturdy.  It kind of feels like a toy.  You have to be careful when twisting it because it gets stuck. In addition,  it does not have a great look all in all.

The lipglosses, on the other hand, I love.  It looks so cute with it's thin and small body. It's great to bring when traveling since it's very portable.  The twist cap is also very smooth unlike the packaging in the lipsticks.

For the product,  the lipsticks are quite the disappointment because it does not apply smoothly at all. The pigment is also not that high but you can work with it.  It's also not moisturizing and not drying too - just normal. However, it's matte and lasts about 5 hours. Not bad for the affordable price.  The lipglosses, on the other hand,  I can rave about them all day long.  I just love love how it feels on my lips. It's very moisturizing. Although,  it's not that pigmented. Both lippies are not transfer proof so that's a thing you can consider.

Verdict:

For 250 pesos, I can work with these lippies.  I love how affordable they are.  Although this set is not that above average, you can work with it.  If they release more colors in this set,  I will buy again because it's very affordable and I'm in love with their lipgloss.

Unless you have unlimited cash to spare, I guess. Thus, I am proud to say that there are tons of affordable high quality products found here in the Philippines. MeNow True lips Lip Liner Pencil with swatches Review

OMG guys I discovered an online "divisoria" shop which is Shopee.ph. If you live here in the Philippines, I'm 70% sure that you've heard about Divisoria. It's a place where items cost less than what we see at malls. Plus, you can haggle prices too. BUT here in Shopee, you won't be able to haggle prices (I think). Not that you'll want to since almost all the items I see there are so cheap already. Anyway, be sure to check the site guys because you'll see a lot of stuff in there. However, since it's online, it's pretty hard to trust fully on the sellers. My tip is check the ratings and comments before purchasing the product you like. AND for the safety of your money, choose Cash on Delivery option. Although not all items are applicable for this option.

ANYWAY, I'll share one of my purchases (since I bought quite a few and I'll post about the others too) which is the MeNow True Lips Lip Liner box. It consists of 12 lip liners for only 150 pesos! So basically one lip liner costs like 12.50 pesos only.

A brief background of what I know about the MeNow brand is it's made in China. They're known for their amazing kissproof lipsticks and it's very affordable. I read that it follows US regulations in cosmetics in one description at shopee. (For more information check their site: http://www.iou-mn.com/about.html) However, if you guys have sensitive skin and are scared to try this then don't. I don't know if this is completely safe so try this at your own risk. I'm merely reviewing my experience in this product.

This product has a LOOOONG list of ingredients that I don't know about. So again, I'm not sure if this is safe so try at your own risk. Another thing, if you guys know anything harmful in the list just comment down below so we'll know.

Here are the 12 lip liners. As you can see, it has a girly look in it. Moreover, you'll never guess that this product only costs 150 pesos for all pencils because it actually has a neat look. In addition, the cap fits snugly so you will not be worried if you put this in your bag. I have no problems regarding its packaging.

Product Desciption:
Provides exceptional lip make-up results. Gives a steady stroke to develop neatly-outlined lips.
Waterproof, multi-vitamin, and enriched with aloe vera.

Swatches: #60 at the top to #46 at the bottom
Colors are: #60, #59, #58, #57, #56, #55, #54, #53, #52, #51, #50 and #46
The colors are by numbers:

All lipliners are pigmented which I'm surprised about since it's so cheap. But, some lip liners are less pigmented than the others especially the light ones so it's harder to apply. Moreover, the liners are not that soft so after all the swatches my lips hurt a little. I did use this yesterday and it did not hurt. So my tip to you guys is don't use this more than once a day because chances are it'll hurt. In addition, some of the colors don't match the shades they're supposed to be like for #55 which is supposed to look like dark violet, turned out blazing red. It is also not waterproof unlike what the brand claims. You can easily remove it from your lips. There are also good comments about this product. The first thing is it lasts long. I wore this yesterday and it did not fade the whole day even though it's not waterproof. Moreover, it's light on the lips like you're not wearing any lippie.

In summary,

What I like:
- It's very cheap
- It's pigmented
- It lasts long
- Light on the lips

What I don't like
- It's not that soft
- the colors are not consistent
- It's not waterproof
- Not sure if it's safe

Verdict:
You can't expect so much from super cheap products. However, I'm starting to like MeNow products because they perform well for the price we pay. Hopefully, this product will not cause any harm in the future.

If you guys still decide to buy this, I strongly recommend this seller. She is very approachable. You can talk to her and confirm your product. I had a hassle-free transaction with this seller. I'll put the link down below:
