Hola! I haven't been able to post stuffs because I've been busy with work and well, playing Covet Fashion. I'm seriously addicted to that game you guys and I'll tell you all about it in another post. Right now, I'll focus on my horrifying cracked heel. I don't know if it's true or not that if you try foot spa, your feet will start to grow dry skin so you need to repeat the process again. (Does it make sense?) Anyways, I saw this Moisturising & Repairing Cracked Heel Cream at Watsons and the first thing that I thought was wow the packaging looks really good. It's part of the collagen series (I call it series since they have other products that are made with collagen and almost the same packaging) that Watsons made recently.
This is what the product looks like. As you can see, it's gold which adds sophistication to the product. Actually, all their recently released collagen products are packaged with the same color and design.
Product Description: Collagen by Watsons Moisturising & Repairing Cracked Heel Cream is enriched with nourishing Shea Butter and moisturising Vitamin E which can deeply penetrate and re-hydrate your dry, cracked, and rough heels, keeping them silky soft and smooth after use.
This product cost about 89+ pesos (I forgot the exact price since I bought it a month ago) but I purchased a promo of buy 2 take 1. I find the price affordable that's why I bought it compared to other cracked heel remedies like the one in Human Nature which costs about 150+ pesos.
The product is a cream type lotion. A small amount like the one in the picture can go a looong way since the product can be spread smoothly. I use this every morning since I'm usually tired for a beauty regimen at night. However, it is recommended to use this 2-3 times a day for better results.
Usage: Apply an appropriate amount onto your heels. Gently massage into skin until fully absorbed. Re-apply whenever necessary. For optimal results, recommend to use at least 2-3 times per day.
Verdict:
Sorry I don't have a picture for the results since I bought this a month ago and forgot to snap a before pic. Anyways, for the first few weeks you will not notice any difference with your skin but as you continue using it you'll see that cracked heel smoothen a little. It does repair your cracked heel but you have to religiously apply it every single day. Moreover, you will have to be patient in waiting for the results. What I like about this product is that it lasts long. I've been using it for a month now and there's still a lot left in the bottle.
