Last October 20 - 21,2018, Belle De Jour launched their 2019 collection in a magic-filled weekend event. I expected a lot beforehand since they have been teasing everyone about the activities the attendees will experience throughout the weekend. In addition, the schedules they made all of us pick was good to get us all pumped up. From workshops, tarot card reading, glitter tattoos, to self development talks, I couldn't sleep for days in excitement.
Belle De Jour 2019 Launch Weekend Event - A Fun-filled Experience
Last October 20 - 21,2018, Belle De Jour launched their 2019 collection in a magic-filled weekend event. I expected a lot beforehand since they have been teasing everyone about the activities the attendees will experience throughout the weekend. In addition, the schedules they made all of us pick was good to get us all pumped up. From workshops, tarot card reading, glitter tattoos, to self development talks, I couldn't sleep for days in excitement.
I went last Sunday, October 21, since I had work the day before. It was a bummer, really, that I only got to attend the last day since my ticket is good for two days. Moreover, both days have different events so it was really best to come in both so you can experience everything. Nevertheless, my experience was still worth it.
First, the event location was big enough to fit everything. I was skeptical at first because it was held inside a mall. I thought that with all the events they had lined up, the location wouldn't be able to be enough. However, Estancia Mall was perfect. The place was really spacious and everything was placed smoothly. The booths were side to side with each other but the space was still breathable.
To be honest, I loved everything. From their setup to their photo booths. Plus, the tickets they gave had the schedule we picked beforehand. There were also stubs for claiming the perks ticket holders can get - photobooths, tarot card reading, free Baskin Robbins ice cream, bag stamping, and many more. The activities that I loved, on the other hand was the Goldilocks Cake Decorating, Tarot Card Reading, and the IG photography lessons by Kenneth Amparo.
Here are some of the photos from the event. The Tarot reading was really entertaining since they asked us to give three questions and they will answer thoroughly through the cards. And since I'm an avid horoscope reader, I really loved the reading. Although, everything you hear should not be taken very seriously. Remember, you make your own fate. *wink wink*
I had my scoop of coffee...sorry, I forgot the flavor, lol. But I loved it though. HAHA. I'm just the kind of girl who forgets the name of the food but remembers the taste. So please bear with me.
We also met some new friends in the event. Kudos to all the event organizers since they made the launch an interactive one! I had so much fun connecting with other people as much as enjoying the workshops.
Lastly, here is my masterpiece. Yup, what an artist, right? Lol. I know it's a disaster but I loved the experience. That's what matters, right?
